Showcasing the Fulbright program’s value and impact to draw the best candidates
Overview
Fulbright, the premier educational exchange program in the world, offers a suite of exchange programs for U.S. and international educators that build mutual understanding, professional development and global competencies in classrooms, schools and communities across the globe.
The digital experience for these programs was fragmented, inconsistent and shallow. Program information existed across multiple websites with different functionality and design, and program candidates couldn’t understand the differences between the programs or know which was the best fit for them.
IREX, the organization administering the programs, asked Inzovu to create a clearer, more cohesive, compelling and deeper digital presence for the suite of programs. IREX also desired a digital experience that offered greater interactivity, additional functionality and one they could manage sustainably, expanding it as necessary to complement ongoing marketing efforts.

Outcomes
Outcomes of our engagement with IREX included, but were not limited to:
- Created a sustainable digital strategy for the programs: Fulbright programs needed a supporting digital experience strategy for how they exist today, and one that allows them to evolve.
- Identified a content strategy to attract the right educators: Eliminating the confusion surrounding the programs by carefully crafting a more holistic content strategy helped educators understand which programs they are best suited for, and led to educators applying to the right programs across the suite of exchange programs.
- Crafted a focused, modern, and simplified experience: The enhanced digital experience now more directly supports the Fulbright mission, has elements that draw attention to related content and clear calls to action, and makes the website work harder and smarter.
- Custom-developed digital platform: The website experience is usable and extensible and includes both a design system and custom content management system allowing the organization to directly support the educator experience throughout application submission timelines and throughout the year.
We are continuing to help foster a sense of ongoing connection to the programs and their experiences for the organization, current participants and alumni by regularly enhancing the website’s experience with new features, content and tools.
